For over 35 years I have represented individuals, real estate developers, commercial landlords, and closely held companies (corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships) in California State and Federal Courts. I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of business litigation including breach of contract, business fraud, partnership disputes, limited liability company member disputes, embezzlement, alter ego, negligence, and in a wide range of commercial real estate litigation, including breach of lease, ownership/quiet title disputes, boundary disputes, easements, mechanic’s lien, and extinguishing liens and lis pendens from title. I have won the overwhelming majority of the bench trials, jury trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings for which I was lead attorney. Lawsuits and arbitrations are inherently time consuming and expensive. My approach is to be as efficient as circumstances allow and achieve the best result for my clients, while trying to avoid unnecessary, and expensive, disputes during the pre-trial motion and discovery process.
